PECHA KUCHA NOTTINGHAM 1-THE CITY
Pecha Kucha Nights (PKN) are a series of presentations in the famous Pecha Kucha format, where 20 slides are show lasting 20 seconds per slide. Presentations can be about absolutely anything and presented by anyone, talking about their job their passion or even their pet dog. The presentations are automatically timed, so this keeps presentations concise, fast paced and fun, this short format allows for the presenter to focus on the essential aspects of their presentation, instead of rambling on.
Nottingham has recently become a member city within the global Pecha Kucha Network – which has over 700 other members across the world – so events can be part of our voice for speaking to Tokyo, Barcelona, New York, Rio and lots of other places. Check it out at www.pechakucha.org
The more that people get involved, the more we can learn from each other, and the more we can grow together.
If you have ideas for future events, know of an interesting venue we could use, fancy doing a Pecha Kucha presentation, or just want to come to the event and find out more, contact Jim on firstname.lastname@example.org
All the events are free of charge. Serious refreshments will be available.
