Plans for a new business enterprise hub in Nottingham have been approved by city planning chiefs. Nottingham City Council hopes to turn the historic People’s Hall on Heathcote Street into a 10,000 sq ft business incubator.
Invest NewsThe People’s Hall is a Grade II listed building located in the Lace Market area of the city. The building, which was built in 1750, has been empty for a number of years. It is owned by local businessman Nigel Kirk.
With support from Nottingham City Council, an Historic Buildings Trust has been established and grant funding is being sought to support a full programme of building repairs and alterations.
