Nottingham City Council would like input from local businesses on how the public will be traversing the city to work, shop and socialise by 2030.
Life NewsNottingham City Council is working with the transport policy research centre Mobility Lab to envision what transport in the city could look like in 2030. Part of this project involves considering different scenarios for the future of transport as part of developing the new Local Transport Plan for the city. Will the city be greener and more environmentally conscious? Will driverless cars become a reality? Will public transport recover and go from strength to strength? The council want to hear your views, as a member of the public or as a business owner on what could or should happen.
NCC be running a series of online surveys sent out via email, asking for views on a range of trends. The responses will help to create different scenarios for the future of transport in the city, which in turn will help set their future aims and objectives.
