The top three* businesses in each category of the It’s in Nottingham competition to find the city’s best independent business have been announced.

In the Café/Coffee Shop category, the top four are;
* A voting tie has resulted in four finalists businesses in the Café/Coffee Shop category.
In the Health, Hair and Beauty category, the top three are;
In the Homeware and Giftware category, the top three are;
* A voting tie has resulted in four finalists businesses in the Café/Coffee Shop category.
In the Pub, Club, Bar and Music Venue category, the top three are;
In the Restaurant category, the top three are;
In the Retail category, the top three are;
The finalists were arrived at via a public vote which saw thousands of nominations across the seven categories.
The winning business in each category plus an overall winner will be announced at a special breakfast event taking place on Wednesday 4 July 2018 – Independence Day.
This year for the first time there will be a Special Achievement award which will be presented to the independent business that the judges believe should have special recognition for their contribution to the independents scene in Nottingham city centre.
