Nottingham-based digital marketing firm Hallam Internet has been named the best-performing agency in the East Midlands and number 33 nationally in The Drum Top 100 Independent Agencies 2018 due to its phenomenal results during the last two years.
Work NewsHallam’s high ranking is due to impressive performance in six categories of financial metrics: turnover, turnover growth, turnover percentage growth, turnover per head, gross profit and gross profit growth. The Drum also reviewed client satisfaction scores to judge which agencies are delivering the greatest value for their customers.
The accolade rounds up a hugely successful growth year on multiple fronts for Hallam. The agency has been chosen as a trusted partner on digital projects for nationally and internationally renowned brands such as Suzuki, Speedo, British Gypsum, Cadent Gas and the Saint-Gobain Group.
“The increase in new clients adds up to almost £1 million in revenue in 2018 and is going to surpass £3 million for the year - a rise of 24% compared to 2017.”
Hallam’s achievements have driven its recruitment to an all time high with 25 new employees this year. New talent has joined the agency from across the East Midlands and London, offering specialist expertise in SEO, PPC, web design and production, digital PR, social media and account management. Former Digital Director at Boots.com, Stuart Ross, was appointed Managing Director in May.
Hallam proved its digital leadership in the East Midlands by organising the first ever Nottingham Digital Summit in June. Industry experts from Google, Microsoft, Speedo, Capital One and Experian inspired over 600 local business people to use the latest digital trends to grow their companies.
Hallam also beat the competition and won the best medium-sized agency in the UK at the prestigious Drum Recommended Digital Agency Awards, based solely on client reviews. Other wins included Service Delivery, Client Service, Usability and Digital Full Service. The agency’s exporting results have also been rewarded with one of only nine UK Board of Trade Awards for Midlands businesses.
“Being included in The Drum Top 100 Independent Agencies 2018 as the highest placing agency in the East Midlands caps off an excellent year of growth for Hallam Internet, and highlights the increasing number of clients who trust us to help deliver digital marketing that gets results. We look forward to continuing these relationships and working with new partners throughout 2019.”
