To support the marketing and events team in the delivery of a successful Big House programme for the organisation, as well as supporting the Marketing Manager with the general marketing of the Creative Quarter.

The Creative Quarter is an economic development agency located in Nottingham, supporting the start up and growth of creative and digital businesses in the Hockley, Lace Market and Sneinton areas, and across the city of Nottingham.
The Big House is a business support project to help Creative and Digital businesses to start up and grow. It is delivered by a partnership of 7 organisations across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, including the Creative Quarter. The Big House provides support to entrepreneurs and established businesses in the form of workshops, network events and one-to-one advice.
The successful candidate will work with the Creative Quarter team on all aspects of marketing and events admin with regards to both The Creative Quarter and The Big House, and work will include managing databases, using social media, writing copy, updating websites.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Strong IT skills including knowledge and application of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook are essential as well as good keyboard/typing skills.
- Knowledge and experience of various forms of social media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure with a calm approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
This is a part-time role for 25 hours pers week and it contracted for 6 months.
