PRESENTED IN ASSOCIATION WITH REEL EQUALITY FILM CLUB
As a tribute to the late Penny Marshall, we’re marking International Women’s Day with this true story of the pioneering women who blazed the trail for generations of athletes. Taking the little-known history of the Woman's Baseball League that ran from 1943-1954, and adding in an engaging storyline with fun, warm characters well played by the cast, it's top notch entertainment from the start right up to the great finale.
Our friends at the Reel Equality Film Club will be enhancing the screening so come along and join in the fun.
