Design and decorate a beautiful willow lantern for Nottingham Light Night.
You will learn how to twist and bend willow ‘withies’ into giant flower, vine and leaf shapes, before covering them in tissue paper to create a hand-made lantern. Sticking the tissue paper can get a little messy so wear clothes you don’t mind getting glue on.
Your finished lantern will be part of a stunning illuminated installation in the City Arts community garden, on public display as part of Nottingham’s Light Night festival.
