14th March 2020
12:00 - 17:00 GMT
Following on from the success of Nottingham African Market back in 2017, SheAfriq have once again teamed up with Rough Trade Nottingham to bring you another edition of the market, offering the city a chance to explore and appreciate the richness of African culture, turning the city's favourite record store into a bustling cultural marketplace for one day only!
This is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the beauty of Nottingham’s very own African community, as well as for a bit of retail therapy. Expect to see handmade goods inspired by the continent; from fashion and, jewellery to homeware, literature, music, beauty products and everything in-between.
As well as the chance to buy creative treats for yourself and loved ones, there will also be live musical performances, storytelling, and a DJ set curated specifically for the event.
This edition will take place during National Small Business Saturday, championing small independent businesses from all around the country.
