Learn how to secure valuable editorial coverage on the half-day ‘How to Use The Media to Boost Your Business’ workshop which covers:
* The media lowdown: deadlines, ‘churnalism’, how the media is changing
* What journalists want
* Top ten tips for press releases
* How to use the news agenda to get noticed
* Using a news hook to get the media's attention
* How to take great photographs that journalists will love
* Tip and hints on how to wow journalists
This half-day workshop is aimed at startups, entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to dip their toe into the world of PR. Please note that booking priority will be given to new enrollees & those who have not yet reached their 12 hours of support. If you have already received 12 hours support, you will be placed on a waiting list & offered a place should any be available nearer the time.
Award-winning journalist Mary Murtagh has spent 15 years as a reporter on the UK’s biggest regional papers. She knows what makes the media tick and how to attract their attention.
The event is on Monday 11 February, 9.30am - 12.30pm
